My first open water swim in November of last year at the TI Sprint Triathlon was a disaster. All of the major swim monsters showed up and even brought some of their friends. Thanks to some great Water World Swim coaches and a stubborn attitude, yesterday I completed an Alcatraz crossing. My goal is to continue Bay swimming and make the Alcatraz crossing many times.
